Weyrbowl
From the cold of between you enter the warm tropical air above the islandic Weyr. Even from this height you can see the thick forested jungles, the white, pristine beaches, and the inviting crystaline waters that are so clear you can see the bottom where dolphins and the schools of fish swim in the reefs. The walls of the Weyr are not as high as the mainland Weyrs but Falas is a smaller Weyr, a secondary Weyr. The dragon anlges downward, toward the windsweapt grasslands of the Bowl where two bodies of water take up a small portion of the surface. Above, dragons are arranged on the Rim to catch the last Rays of sunlight. There is a peacefulness to the Weyr, a sense of quite pride as it sits below the surface. "Welcome to Falas Weyr," the rider tells you as they circle to land. He grins back at you. He is young, his green dragon just nearing her second Turn. "I'll leave you at the Lower Caverns. You'll be able to find your way from there." As K'dak points the destination out to you, the rim of the Weyr seems larger now. Above you ranges the huge cavern that is the Hatching Grounds. Above range what is known as the Sunning Feild where several dragons are lounging around, a green and blue preening there wings as they bicker over the best spot. Irith lands, her pinions catching the dust storm so that you cough a bit. K'dak lets you down, sliding down his dragon's shoulder. She ruffles her wings, looking pleased with a job well done. "If you need anything, find one of the wolves. They know the best secrets of the Weyr and the people in it!" he told you, gave you a rougish salute, then braced himself for the downward sweep that would bring him airborn with his dragon again. For a moment you watch them leave, winging there way across the Weyr. Then you turn back to the Caverns - a golden wolf is watching you. She grins just as another pops her head out from behind. "Oh! Great! We have fresh meat to chew on!" the second, a silver she-wolf, grins but winks mischviously. "Kidding. I am Seune and this is Meahu. I would ask you if you're lost but...well, you've just arrived so you can't be lost." "Yet," the golden wolf mummbled as you join them. Of course there were wolves at Falas. There always have been since Seneca. "If you listen to this pup, you'll get yourself lost." Seune snorts at that but remains in a gay mood, her tail wagging like a banner behind her. "I am Meahu, the Headwomans Assistant, of sorts. How can I help you?"

10-23-2009Falas Weyr's events are being post-poned until I get a few RL things figured out. >.< The timeline has been paused so when/if I come back it will start up right where I've left off, which will be Nysheth's Clutch. Any candidates I've written are still bound for where I intended them. I am staying away from the Nexus for a time while I get my life organized (not that one ever can these days...>.<) If there is any info you want me to put back up, please let me know. The contact form is still working. :)Records are patially up but most of the site is still functional.
