Impression Rules

In order to obtain a dragon, you must submit a character whos information and/or story is on a webpage. No page, no dragon. NO PET PAGES, LIVEJOURNALS, OR PERSONAL SITES! If you have any questions, ask.
Please keep all candidates humaniod if they are not from Pern. I will accept anything as long as they look human - meaning, no anthros or weird part-human candidates. I have nothing against them personally but I would like to keep some tradition in the Weyr.
I do not allow copied pages! Stats and stories must be of your own creation. If you use a layout or graphics that you did not make, please give credit where it is due.
Please note that the resulting dragonets are limited to the genetics of the parents. If you request something that is not possible (and I think your candidate deserves what you asked for or something else), I will not have them Impress. I do not generate a clutch and go by that list strictly (as I did with Dark Moon's first clutch). Rares will only hatch if possible and if I feel a character deserves it. DO NOT ASK FOR RARES. They are rare for a reason.
Please keep your page at a PG-13 rating. If it is above this please note this on your page to warn other younger viewers
of the content. If it must have R rated material do not exsagerate. I'm over 18 and have no problem with such but to use
such things modestly. Swearing dose not bother me (any more...) though keep the choosen words true to the world. Shards,
shells are common Pernese terms.
There is no limit of pets though a traditional rule was THREE. Winged wolves do not count as pets; they are companions, a best friend. Please use discression when giving a charcter more then three pets, please.
Candidates should be in a 12 to 18 age limit. A dragon will mature 3 years after hatching. A young rider should be able to handle the emotional changes with his or her dragon, expecially a queen. Queen candidates should be closer to 17-21 minimum age.
Filler candiates are accepted at any time. However, things are not moving along like they once did at Falas so they may be on the list for a while. If you have traditional candidate (with a story) that you want to send in to wait, please understand that I will give no promise on how soon they will Impress.
There are currently three Searchriders at Falas Weyr. All three know how to do Off-World Searching for non-Pernese Candidates. If you want to use another rider, you may, but these three hold the special title.
I have 3 stages (though weyrling is being redone as I messed up the template). Hatching, Weyrling, Adult. I will try to send out the next stage with the next clutch. You all have your own timelines to go by, I know, though I give my dragons three Turns/years to mature for Threadfall and first mating flights. I will have 3-4 clutches per Turn so the stages will not go out parallel to the timeline I use. Just food for thought.

You may send in as many candidates as you want - HOWEVER do not expect them all to Impress from that clutch. 1 for clutches smaller then 5; 2 for up to 10 eggs; 3 for large clutches. You are allowed only ONE queen candidate per clutch. If your candidate Impresses the queen, I ask you to not send in another queen candidate...well...ever. Let someone else try for the queen. It's only fair, I think.
There will be 4-5 open spots for a gold depending on the clutch size and how many I
feel like disappointing this time around. If you do not get the gold egg this may not mean I didn't like your candidate and they
are welcome to stand again.
Golds and green Impress girls - bronze, brown, blue Impress boys as is Cyber-Pern tradition. If you feel your candidate deserves a color not traditional to their gender, please let me know. Strong minded girls can Impress brown and blues but rarley bronze. A girl on a fighting dragon should be more like your military-type girls. Truthfully, I cannot see why a fighting dragon would choose a whinny, princess type girl, much less a blue or brown! In your story, prove to me that your character deserves the color you ask for, if you ask for a specific one!
If you want your own dragon name, give it to me. If I hatch the clutch and you don't get that name...I forgot and you
can kick me! Then I will change it for you.
It is not manditory that you stay at the Weyr. If you want to have your character remain at Falas, fill out a Transfer Request under the Fighting Wings menu. If you don't I will assume your dragon and rider has left (after two turns of training). They are permited to leave (with another rider guiding them) once they have learned to fly [and] go between. This way, they may finish their training at their choice of a future home.
I will use NPC Candidates, Filler Candidates (sent in by other people), and dud eggs to reduce the wait on clutches. However, even with that, things will still be slow. Life distracts us for good or bad but Falas will still be here. Promise!
